I have a Mustage solo seat with the driver's backrest (removeable) and the wider passenger seat (two seperate seats). They are be best money that I have spent on my 02 FXD. The original factory seat is one of the worst seats I have had when on an extended trip. The new Mustang seat is like a saddle that is built to hold your butt. With the solo seat and the additional passenger seat I can change to whole look of my bike in minutes. By removing the passenger seat and backrest, my 02 looks like a Street Bob with a overtones of a chopper (Guys love this!). My vote is to go with the Mustang seats.

I replaced the POS stock(solo) seat on my FXDB with the 2-up Sundowner...$269...BIG improvment but still wasnt what I wanted...added the Air Rider gel pad($149).. after 6 or 8 hours in the saddle my 'roids' have no complaints....:>

I replaced the solo seat on my Street Bob with the two-up seat from the Screamin' Eagle. (Also put passengers pegs on.) I'm not sure how this seat works from the passenger's viewpoint, but it gives me a real firm but comfortable riding position.
