Paint questions
Hey guys............. I hate the stockemblem on my 07' Lowrider, anyone have experience changing emblems and repsraying their tank / fenders? Did you go through the stealer, diy, private spray house?

Forget asking the stealer for matching paint.......it ain't available at any price - H-D makes sure of that.
When I need to paint some saddle bags that I added, I took the scoot to a auto paint dealer and he scanned it with a hand held unit in three places and made me matching paint that matched perfectly (Lava red sunglow).
But, if you are looking for custom paint, just look at any custom cars or bikes in your area and stop the owner and ask about it. They love to talk about good looking paint.

HD will paint them, so you know the quality will be there. Will paint pretty much anything you want, if you just want the typical Harley look, either 1 tone or 2 tone. Will do the striping and let you pick out the decal, or leave the decal off and do an emblem instead. I think it's in the catalog under "sheetmetal exchange", and they call it Spectrum I think?
