People around here really seem to like Fox creek leather. I have read nothing but excellent reviews. That being said I ahve not use leatherup.com. I have a www.schottnyc.com
They are pricey but very well made in USA garments that will last a long time. Mine has been used and abused for about 7 years and is still great. I wore it daily for many many years as well...When I say sore it daily, I mean all day everyday too. Not just too and from work.
yea dude,...Wife and I both got 1 from leatherup.com....................quality was actually very good,....heavy,.....and jackets even had removable liners(they didn't mention that). I didn't like the one I bought for me,....it catches too much wind,....but that was my fault. Otherwise they were o.k.
I did the same thing Paulie did.. took a chance.. but its a great coat and has armor Kevlar shielding in the shoulders, elbows and also has a back pad.. all for about 100 bucks.. I have had it 2 seasons and its still doing fine..
I have 2 sets of leathers. One black, one chocolate brown. Neither from that company. I've purchased some things from Jammin' Leather, but most of my gear comes from local leather stores. I have long arms and legs, so I really need to try things on before buying anything. Funny, though - I bought that Choc leather jacket from a store in Ft. Lauderdale. A perfect fit, and it was on clearance. I think I paid $125 for it. Three weeks later I found a pair of chaps, a perfect color match to the choc jacket, in a HD dealership in Tampa. Again, on clearance. Can't recall what I paid, but it was a steal by my account at the time.
Great! Had a couple returns on other items ...excellent again.
Mine was $99 (below) heavier and much better quality than expected. (Weight is more than you think..)
Waiting for fall to wear it regular...now just early am.
