My dyna had an issue with the proximity of the kickstand cotter pin to an engine case bolt (caused a vibration). My dealer fixed that. No other issues including heat issues and noise issues. I have added slip ons (old screaming eagle taper downs similar to cycle shack taper downs that you can buy today without the screaming eagle logos) and not done any mapping or intake work. No fuel issues no ridability issues. Best bike I've ever had carburation wise. 43 mpg in avg/ mixed driving consistantly ( 39 low 46 high). I'm happy @ 3400 mi and one year.

BTW, 99% of everybody here complaining about an 07 or 08 is a touring bike owner. It's my thinking that the touring bike's exhaust routing makes the cooling problem a real problem. the dynas and softails miss this problem by the skin of their teeth due to a better cooling path both actual (better exhaust routing) and realised (less heat shrouding) by the rider.
