According to the accessories catalog I have right here in front of me, the only bikes that require the turn signal kit are the FXD, FXDB, FXDC, FXDL, and FXDSE. Looks like the wide glide and fat bob do not require it. And from looking at the fender struts on those bikes in the pictures, I see that there is a rear bolt just in front of the turn signals that should be where the rear docking kit would mount. So, it doesn't appear you need to move your turn signals.

Nope, you don't. I just got an 07 WG and detachable sideplates go right on without any relocation. Be careful though, when I put on the mounting hardware for the sideplates, I stripped out one of the torx bolts (huge pain in the a$$).
