So which bagger did you get? I went down to the HD shop to buy a Electraglide standard ended up going home with a Street Bob.To this day I still wish I'd bought the Electraglide.
I made my mind up just the other day that my bike will be getting saddlebags within the next couple of weeks. There does come a point when function wins over form. I know I'll like bags, but have fought getting them just for the sake of the fight I guess. I want a RK quite a great deal, but that aint gonna be happenin' anytime some. I've actually thought about doing some beach bars and auxillary lights with the bags and creating a DynaKing.
Someday I will buy a bagger, but really don't ever want to give up my Dyna. It is the bike I wanted when I made the purchase.
I have always liked RoadKings, and I think the StreetGlide or RoadKing is maybe my next ride, but they surely won't do what a Dyna will.
I love my "big Sportster".
I immediately took the saddlebags off after the long ride. I felt like such a dork with drag bars and saddlebags. I've got to say though they looked pretty sharp compared to riding with a back pack. This pic was at a motel in Winslow AZ. There's a song about that place I think. Congrats on the new ride.
I love the sideshots bro. They're loud, they're shiny and work great to blow leaves off the driveway. I picked them up from easternperformance.com-- 150 bucks cheaper than the dealership wanted to sell them to me for(out of Fatbook)
I agree with Blade. I'll get a bagger when I get old (I'm only 57). But I did just put some throw over bags on my Bob last week, after I changed out the back light/turn signals for this nifty little unit from Debrix.
