Having had two baggers, the last being my first brand new in '05 bike, until I was rear ended by a drunken Slovenian on his phone, I really fancy a change hence the deposit on a FattyBob.
The 'bob is some 70 kilo's lighter than a 'Glide & that's something I'm looking forward to. You can tour on Honda 90, I did, so if it rolls, use it.
I just sold my 2004 FHLTI last week, matter of fact I have to ride it down to Mamora, NJ today to get the rest of the money and hand over the title.
I was thinking already about selling me Bob and getting a bagger again in the spring. I plan on going to Milwaukee this August for the 105th and might want a bagger for the trip.
But I still like the Candy red sunglow Fatboy.
My bike is bagger enough for me right now, and the windshield and bags pop right off. I like that multiple bikes in one thing. But down the road when I (hopefully)will beable to sayon the roadfor extended periods, I would love to have a RGor EG to go with the SG which I'd build into more of a looker/hotrod at that point. For now I'm happy with this compromise.
I'd love to have a Street Glide, but I'd have to get rid of my LR to do it. There is no way my wife won't see two bikes in the garage and she sure would be pissed! It's bad enough that I sent her an email telling her I had bought my LR...although, it went over much better than I thought it would.
Yeah I guess your right Mud, you can ride it anyway ya want, I never could though.
Donât get me wrong, like I said, have fun on it and I hope you like it, didnât work for me at all after the 1st nice road trip, if all I was gonna do was road it, maybe, but I still donât think so.
You will probly love it, is certainly is a good looking machine.
