i was looking at the harley wide tire kit that is listed in the 08 catalog, that puts a 180 tire on a street bob...anyone know what you get in the kit besides the tire? it looks to me, like there is enough room to put on a 180 tire with no other modification...

I believe its quite simply smaller/shorter nuts/bolts for the fender strutts so they don't petrude so much towards the tyre on the inside of the rear fender. There isan extensive discussion about not actually needing the entire kit, someHDF members have just put thewider tyre onwithno problems.

Just the tire is all you need... do a search and you will get a step but step how to on the site! I would sugest another tire other than the SE tire just for wear issues... I LOVE THE SE 180 i have on my bike now but it wears down CRAZY fast! there are alot of good tires out there... spend a bit more and it will last a ton longer!
