hk_shooter: Was that your max torque reading or the torque at your max hp rpm reading? - check printout and see if you got a higher torque at a much lower rpm, you likely did much better torque-wise down under 3000 rpm.
I'm holding the print out in my hand right now reading 80.6 HP at 5420 RPMs and 92 Ft lbs at 3837 rpms. The dyno tech couldn't believe it either he kept asking what cam I had in it.I've tried to scan this print out before but it comes out un readable, it's too light maybe I'll try it again today.

On the print out it's referred to as the "Max Torque" chipster. The torquecurve(more like a flat)started outlike 64ft/lbs@ 2000 RPM's up to the max(72.9) at about 4500 RPM's. Horsepower range was much steeper graph.
I'll see if I can find a scanner, Trotter.
Chip yer numbers are excellent, the torque in the crusing range is great.. He did a good job on the bike.
Thanks Skip - Yeah, I was quite pleased and surprised, especially since it was on a Dyno-Mite (?) newly installed a couple of months ago at the dealer (their first dyno tune machine and, I guess, not the most elaborate of the dyno models) - and I had requested their head engine guru do it and he worked his magic for quite a few hours. But, as I've said before, being the cheap SOB I am, their regular charge for a tune is $150 flat which I thought was pretty good, but they were offering a "Back To School" service special for 10% off. So I jumped at it, yet wasn't quite sure what to expect for $135. I guess you sometimes get more than you pay for!! LOL! Just wished they had remembered to install my BCT Monster baffles first which were forgotten on top of a cabinet. Oh well, I ain't complaining.
