Wide Glide Conversion
Any one know where I can get the axle spacers and hub spacer to run my 19 inch front tire after I change over my narrow glide front end to a wide glide front end???
I do not wanna run a 21 inch tire like the wide glide does....matter of fact down the road I might even wanna lace a 17 inch rim to my front hub to run a wider front sneaker!!!
Kinda gonna make this bike FAT like Exile Cycle builds.....
I have the new trees and axle........
I have a 07 St. Bob with all axles being 1 inch....

I'll be watching for an answer....doing the WG trees on my 07 also, but am going to run the 21" to keep the trail within parameters. I know its only a difference of 3/8"on height (21" tire is 3/4" larger than 19"tire) but i figure the nose is gonna dip due to the extra couple of degrees on the WG trees. Nice bike.

I might need to get a hold of you this winter......I want to go with 14 inch apes to and looks like you have all the right cable sizes I'm gonna need.....LOL
Do you get a lot of BULL from your buddies like I do when they ask when are you gonna paint your bike???....
They say it looks like grey primer .......well until that bright sunshine hits it that is....LOL
Riding for 40 years.......and still CLICKING on the miles !

i'm in the middle of doing the wide glide conversion on my '07 bob.... just finished wiring my chubbys ....gonna install the tubes and sliders this weekend...and relocate my directionals with kuryakyn P2288s

I have an 04 lowrider running a 2000 softail 41mm wide front, with the stock wheel and rotor. I got my stuff from these guys.....

Thanks Ameristo but I made a few emails and calls to them and so far they haven't got back to me.......
I don't think they have the spacer I need for the new 06 and 07's yet.....I seen a lot of kits for the older Dyna's....

If you do let me know what you used for the hub spacer.

I take that back.. I an NOT running my stock wheel, there seems to be a problem finding 1" axle stuff. So, when I did the front end conversion I had to change over to a 3/4" axle..
