Default Feeling Dyna TC-A vs- Softail TC-B

I would like to know your opinion regarding the "Harley feeling" of a Dyna TwinCam-A compared to a Softail TwinCam-B motor?

The performance is different, TC-A is rubber-mounted, TC-B (with two balancers) on a Softail is bolt-mounted,
but what's about the "good vibrations" ?

Do you prefer a Dyna because of the TC-A ?

Or are both equally smooth ?

Thanks a lot
eddie

I love the "good vibrations" at idle, lets you know you're on a harley..

From the stats on the Harley website, and others, the TC-A comes out of the factory putting out more torque and hp. There is also, in the end, more you can do with it in terms of modifications. Smoother at speed, less so around town. The TC-B is about getting that softail look. In the end I think that's how you should choose though. You dump enough money into either and you can get more power or a smoother ride...

I've never been on a B motor, but me dad says he can hear the counter-balancer. It's either a chain or a belt, but he noticed the 'extra' noise.

I rode my brothers 2008 Softail Deluxe anddid not like the ride at all. There is extra engine noise like a sewing machine. It was a smooth ride but I did not get the feeling that I was on a Harley. Love the look of the bike better than mine but I feel better with a little vibration under me.The cockpit seemed cramped and very upright and I am only 5' 6. Dyna for me! I have the 2007 Street Bob.
