Dude, one day you are selling your bike, the next you are ordering parts. What gives? You must have the old wife giving you the guilt trip thing going on. Sounds like my life.
Ha... I know. I'm flip flopping more than John Kerry and Hillary Clinton put together. Actually, I ordered those early last week already.

Nah, I've got all kinds of stuff going on right now and things coming at me from all directions. In hindsight, buying the bike NOW might not have been a good idea, but I did it and I'm sticking to it. I also believe that I would find myself enjoying it even more if I could set it up like I was use to on my old bike - forward controls, windshield for all of my highway driving to work (ok, yes I like the windshield!), better pipes for the Harley sound, etc. I miss setting off car alarms when driving into the parking lot every morning from work.

My wife doesn't want me selling it at all. She's cool as hell about all of that. I have the best wife when it comes to stuff like that. She's not a solo rider herself, but she loves to ride on the back of them and was bummed to hear me talk about selling it.

The only thing that I have found keeping me sane and able to get my mind off things is my bike, so it's safe to say that I'm keeping it... for now.

I recently changed from a Sportster to a Dyna, but I got a secondhand FXDX, the Dyna is much better I think and I now have forward controls to install, youre right, the mids are cramped. I would go for the Superglide Custom were I in the position to get a new Dyna, and then over time do it the way I want. But then again, you like the denim paint, and I hate it like a plague! I suppose what Im saying is, it's personal taste that must rule, but I'd say Dyna's are a better bike overall!
