What do you guys use to plug the holes of a stock seat, when changing over to a solo seat? Does H-D make something like this? Or can I get it from some catalog like jpcycles or something? Thanks, not entirely sure what they would be called.
Try part number 761 or 10228. They're about $.75 at your local HD dealership. 761 is listed as the plug for a WG rear fender, 10228 is shown on the other Dyna fenders.
hmmm, I just asked this same question several hours ago with no responses. guess I found my answer anyway. Are they plugs fairly easy to remove? I just agreed to buy a stock streetbob seat from a guy on here so I'll probably not use my 2 up stock seat anymore. But there'll still be times when I'll need to put the ole tallboy and sissy bar on to haul the wife around. I imagine I'd want to get several plugs as pulling it out and putting it back in will where 1 out after a while?
There are all kinds of black rubber grommets and plugs at the local car parts or body shop supply house. Nearly every car and truck has all different sizes of those damn things in it. No shortage of supply available. I'll bet Lowe's and Home Depot has a pile of them too.
