You forgot the front brakes!

But seriously - won't the frame hit the wheel on hard decel? Doesn't look like there's much clearance there.

No that was just my mock up and I got carried away and moved it outside for a picture. There is no top springs in the front shocks. So after installing them and I've got a3 deg cups coming there will be tons of clearance.

Combine a bunch of Dyna's with a bit of touring in there....

Start with a FXDC, throw in a little Fat Bob, a little Street Bob, some WideGlide and a dash of FLHTCU..

If the fat tire was a big deal in making FatBob a better handler, then I think HD would have put a fat tire on the front of the new Sporty Roadster. And all the race bikes would have big fat front tires. And my 1200GS would have a big front tire. I disagree with this theory. Nothing scientific, just an opinion.

I've ridden both. Both bikes handle great. Some will find that the mid-controls on the Street Bob give a greater sense of control round the twisties. Personally, I like to stretch out my legs a bit, which would make the Fat Bob more appealing.

Oops - didn't notice the thread was so old. My apologies for butting in!

Fat Bob runs a 130 front stock.
MotoGP runs a 120.
