Convertable
The original was the FXRS-Convertible of 1989. In minutes, you could remove the windshield and the saddlebags leaving the bike stripped down.
At the end of 1993, theFXRS-Convertible was to be discontinued. Next year, all FXR's would be gone.
1994,the FXDS-Convetiblejoined the lineup. In 1999, it was equipped with the 88 Twin Cam.....however, the bike was finally discontinued in 2001. People could buy a Road King Classic for about the same price.....hence most bought the Road King instead.
In 2002-2003......Harley tried the T-Sport. It was asomewhat of a sport version of the previous Convertible. It was a nice equipped bike and those that bought one....should realize they have a nice "do it all motorcycle." Unfortunately, this motorcycle was a sales flop.....they claim it simply didn't have that "Harley Look."
Those are the only ConvertiblesHarley ever made.ASoftail Convertible never existed.
