dumb ? on mid controls
i searched , does anyone make aftermarket mid controls ie..brake pedal,shifter..
i know this might be a dumb question but i can't use forward controls.
i am just looking for shifter and brake pedal.

Why can't you use FCs? Harley says you cannot put FC on a LR with the engine guard, look at my pic. You just need to put on a WG engine guard.=) lowryder

Mike, what kind of bike do you have? I have the mids that came off my super glide. I don't have the shifter itself because I'm still using the stock one on my forwards but you should be able to do the same thing on mids. I also don't have the brake rod because I gave it to a friend that needed one. You can purchase a brake rod by itself though.
The reason I ask what kind of bike you have is because I wonder if you have what you need inside the primary for mid controls. If not, that may be the issue you need to pursue. You won't have a problem finding the mid control mounts, pedals, and rods, but I don't know about the mid-shift linkage, spline, etc. that goes inside the primary. If you have a wide glide or fat bob that came with factory forwards, you'll need those parts as well.

your bike should have come with mids if it has harley forwards and the shifter was removed it will take some work if not just order stosker parts and you will be back to mids

you can find plenty of stock take-offs on e-bay for next to nothing.
if your bike has mids now and you're looking to upgrade them for different looks, then you will have a hard time finding someone that manufacturers after-market pieces.
my suggestion - buy some stock take-offs and modify them yourself

plenty of ideas......

What year and model do you have? I have a couple of stock brake and shift parts from my 2004 FXD that I don't need. Post here or PM me and I'll see if I can help out. Best bet is to post a list here and I would guess that between many of us on the Forums, we'll have what you need, either really cheap or for the cost of postage.
