Just joined hdforums tonight, I was wondering if anybody has had problems with there speedometer. Mine quit working. I pulled the sensor out cleaned it and reinstalled it, but still not working anyone have any ideas? I have a superglide sport (fxdxsp)

Usually cleaning it is only a temp repair, they run about $50. Pick one up and replace it. That's about the only thing that goes bad on these systems. They have had quite a few going bad. How many miles?

You follow the wire up into the battery area, You'll say a few nice words doing it too, but don't be tempted to splice it. Not really that much work. Yes it is the whole assembly with wire attached.
