Had an FXRC for many years and to this day I feel it's the best all round Harley ever made. I was told the main reasons for discontinuing the FXR were,that it took to long to build and was to costly. Bottom line you know. I for one would love to have a new one.

As of yet I have not had it done. Trying to talk the wife into letting me spend the money. According to my mechanic though he said it would cost me between $1000 and $1200. He helped me by installing my saddlebag supports, replacing my side supports for my sissy bar, getting me a taller sissy bar, replacing my black SE a/c cover with a chrome one, and removing my windshield. All at a very good price. The guy used to work at the local Harley dealer and then quit and started his own small shop specializing in Harley's
