Should Harley Davidson reintroduce the FXR?
Had an FXRC for many years and to this day I feel it's the best all round Harley ever made. I was told the main reasons for discontinuing the FXR were, that it took to long to build and was to costly. Bottom line you know. I for one would love to have a new one.

Anyone have some FXR pics they can post? I believe I have seen this bike in some Harley books I own but not to sound ignorant since I am relatively new to Harley's, I am not familiar with them.

Steve,

As of yet I have not had it done. Trying to talk the wife into letting me spend the money. According to my mechanic though he said it would cost me between $1000 and $1200. He helped me by installing my saddlebag supports, replacing my side supports for my sissy bar, getting me a taller sissy bar, replacing my black SE a/c cover with a chrome one, and removing my windshield. All at a very good price. The guy used to work at the local Harley dealer and then quit and started his own small shop specializing in Harley's

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Mark
