I finally broke out my tool and stiffened the shocks all the way up. Wow, what a difference.
Oh, man, Herr Monk, there has got to be a joke in there somewhere...
But seriously, the firmest setting? With stock shocks I tried that and it was a bit too much like a buckboard wagon. I roll on the 3rd or sometimes 4th(amazing how much stuff I 'need' sometimes)

OK, I'm going to plead ignorance, or stupidity here.
I don't recall getting a tool kit with my bike, and the owners manual said nothing about adjusting shocks. When I look underneath, they look adjustable, but it seems that a tool will mess up the covers.
