I posted some information about a muffler mod I did and was asked to post some pictures of the bike....so here they are....I have several....imagine that.
Dude! I luv it!!! Congrats! I keep going back and forth on trading in my sporty! How do you like the ride? Smooth? do you have to lean forward? I have short arms... I sat on one about a month ago, but I can not remember if it felt like i was reaching or not, so I guess it could not have been too bad...
It is the most comfortable Harley I have ever sat on in stock form....the seat is great....the bars are perfect....I prefer the mid controls....I am not the biggest person....I dont lean at all.....I went for 100 mile ride Sunday.....felt great when i got done....I cant say that about my 1200 Low
I got it at a dealer.....its just a 9 inch fork bag made of thin leather or vinyl (most likely) that I got for $20.....I have seen the same bag at a couple dealers.....I made an insert for it out of a corigated plastic sign I had laying around to make it a little stiffer....I just drilled 4 holes in the backside spaced to fit over my swing arm and attached it with 2 zip ties. My brother purchased a different bag made of heavier leather and mounted it the same way....but his bag cost 4 times as much......but I must say....it is a nicer bag
I have no idea about the bag.....it is just a cheap leather look fork bag ($20) that I found at the dealer. I just made an insert of corrigated(sp) plastic from a plastice sign i had laying around to make it hold its shape. I put one on my brothers street bob which was made of much heavier leather.....but it also cost a lot more
