new H-D lowering shocks
Is anyone using the Harley Davidson touring lowering shocks on a Street Bob? I noticed with 25 lbs. pressure and solo, the rubber dust cover is mostly collapsed. With 2up riding I use 45 lbs and have not noticed any bottoming and the ride is smooooth, but wonder if the shocks should drop this much. Did the improvedvalving cause this drop?

They drop down a little more then the original shocks. Here's a photo of the 12" air shocks with my 225lbs of weight on them at 22 psi. They sit at the same height as the original Low Rider shocks when I'm not on the bike.

Yes, this is what mine looks like. I guess I was expecting the way the old H-D profile shocks looked,but I do like the smooth ride of the new improved valving. I was affraid the bike would bottom outwhen I got my wife on with me, but seems all is well. I will just have to get used to higher pressures compared to my Electra Glide. What pressure do you you use when 2 up?
