Slipstreamer SS-32 Falcon windshield and wind deflectors
I just added this w/s after doing my Sportster Custom Speedo replacement. My old w/s was too tall and it did not cover my hands from the cold. On my first test ride I noticed it protected my hands a LOT better. If you notice I have added some lowers to cut down on buffeting. I tried it without the lowers and it beat me to death at highway speeds. They do not make lowers for the Dynas so I bought the Softail ones from the dealer and they bolt to the brackets for this w/s with no major modifications. It will take 4 longer screws and 4 spacers (all available from Ace hardware) to add them to the clamp. The spacers are mainly necessary to hold them out so they do not rub the lower part of the fork. There is nothing to bolt the lowest holes to so you can add a fork bag between them for more stability or join them togeather with a threated rod. I recommend moving the turn signals to the forks due to the reflection on the w/s at night. I am still trying to get it adjusted for the smoothest ride so I'll post an update later. Also if you get this w/s the 06 and later models require the oversize clamp kit to fit the 49mm forks.
