I saw one for the first time in person two weeks ago............I had always liked the looks of the bike in the pictures.............I do not like it in person................front tire is hideous..........looks like a metric................. . . ..
Yeah, I think I heard a while back about some factories shutting down for a little while to offset layoffs? so production is down... the old Harley supply and demand tricks... They are around, but you almost can not hesitate. I missed the one in colonie by 2 days, and the one in woodstock by 3 days. Woodstock had one coming in around the middle of December in the denim black with mids(I have a 28" inseam so the forwards are not an option...lol) so I signed at the bottom. You will be lucky if you ever walk into a dealer and see the bike you want in the color you want that is actually for sale...

-- dealers around here have had quite a few sitting in the showrooms for a while now. Ought to be able to swing a good deal as they don't want to go into the winter season overstocked. Wonder why so many aren't being snapped up? Maybe Lo and I aren't alone?

No, you guys are not alone... I do not think it looks like a metric, but it is with out a doubt modern! Lets see, in cities and towns where they play other music on the radio than that of Lynard Skynard, you can not find a FatBob cuz they are all spoken for, and in the cities and towns where all you hear on the radio all day is FREE BIRD, they have several in each dealership... I wonder what that implies? ...J/K [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif][sm=escape.gif]
Nothing against the traditional styling of HD, I love the softail and wide glides, HD is making big strides to update and move forward and this is a good thing. That is why you see the Fat Bob and the Rocker push. This will be the tone going forward as they are positioning for growth and continuing to build the brand. There are many different types of riders not all have beards and tatoos and not all are weekend yuppie warriors. The Fat bob is a cross between the Fat Boy and the Street Bob. New and fresh. A lot of people did not like the front tire on the Fat Boy when it came out as well! To each there own.
