Nothing against the traditional styling of HD, I love the softail and wide glides, HD is making big strides to update and move forward and this is a good thing. That is why you see the Fat Bob and the Rocker push. This will be the tone going forward as they are positioning for growth and continuing to build the brand. There are many different types of riders not all have beards and tatoos and not all are weekend yuppie warriors. The Fat bob is a cross between the Fat Boy and the Street Bob. New and fresh. A lot of people did not like the front tire on the Fat Boy when it came out as well! To each there own.
[sm=funnypostabove.gif]Funny and well put... I was just pokin' fun... slow day at the office...lol
I've seen them at several dealers in Maryland. Not sure which part of the country you are in, but I'm sure if you were willing to travel for one, you could find the bike you wanted.
Mine never hit the showroom floor - they went at got it (warehouse, other dealer, who know's??) did the assembly and delivered it to my house. I'm sure you can find one in Cali.
I saw one for the first time in person two weeks ago............I had always liked the looks of the bike in the pictures.............I do not like it in person................front tire is hideous..........looks like a metric................. . . ..
All the reviews rave about the handling of the fat bob with its front tire being closer to the size of the rear... Sounds logical to me.

+1
-- dealers around here have had quite a few sitting in the showrooms for a while now. Ought to be able to swing a good deal as they don't want to go into the winter season overstocked. Wonder why so many aren't being snapped up? Maybe Lo and I aren't alone?
No, you guys are not alone... I do not think it looks like a metric, but it is with out a doubt modern! Lets see, in cities and towns where they play other music on the radio than that of Lynard Skynard, you can not find a FatBob cuz they are all spoken for, and in the cities and towns where all you hear on the radio all day is FREE BIRD, they have several in each dealership... I wonder what that implies? ...J/K [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif][sm=escape.gif]
lol, i don't think it's the Free Bird Factor, it plays just as much on this coast. Weather is more than likely the reason the colder states are having 4-5 sit around without a home. Alabama...i can't help you there...something to do with football.

Ive heard the same........they told me it was the best handling harley ever made..... . . .I figured that was a sales line.... .. . . .either way I think its ugly stock..... . . . not saying you couldnt pimp it out. . . . . . ..... . .......
