I want more light for night riding. The headlight on my Suzuki C90 is better than most cars I have driven, and would like to get light at least as good from my Dyna. Any suggestions (other thanmounting a C90 headlight!!)?
...guitar players lament - need more watts.
Meaning add additional bulbs. I added three 55 watt bulbs- two pointing up - one down.
The two up are wired to the high beams. The one down is wired to the low beam (and has a modulator).
I used a step drill to make the hole in the lamp and wired using wire nuts.
I upped the 15 amp fuse to 20 amps and it works fine - this with added lights to the rear brake as well (same circuit) and changing rear lights to double filiment bulbs.
Works great and throws a lot more light out.
Cost was 20 bucks and I did add a Silver Star as BC said...
Good luck, dd
I like the look of the single headlight. Is there an aftermarket assembly that will fit and keep the clean look, but with a modern jewel type lens/reflector?
5.75" Bullet light? Alot more light than stock in my opinion. Just an idea?
You took the words right out of my mouth bro. I couldn't believe the difference this light throws compared to the stock one, and it looks about 100xs better:

Looks BAD AZZ on your bike too Jake! Fits your "scheme" perfect!

Thanks bro. If I'm not mistaken, I got the idea from you because I loved how good it looked on your bike.

...want another cheap but big difference maker advice for yours? Get the smoked turn signal lense cover kit. Costs about $40 bucks, but makes a BIG DIFFERENCE & "drowns out" the orange that pops out at you when lookin' directly at the front or back of the bike. Let's see if I have any good before & after pics...
I actually changed the rears to red when I was home and it looks awesome with the red paint. I also like the yellow in the front because of the skulls/flames on the tank.
