First, welcome to the Harley world. Secondly, how deep are these pockets your talking about, because you're in for rude awakening compared to the metric world...lol
I'd advise you to take a look through the photo gallery at the scores of incredible bikes for ideas. Some here have dumped more into our bikes than we have in our trucks or cars and might be able to lead you in the right direction.
Welcome aboard and congrats on your 'new' bike! Keep reading thru the threads - lots of good and creative ideas and some are pretty cheap or even free - for example, removing reflectors costs nothing (couldn't tell for sure from your pic if you still had them on)!
Another thought, when looking for parts, reach out to folks here on the forums, you might be able to save yourself a few bucks. You'd be surprised what some of us have in our "parts bins".
have fun with it and good luck. take your time a little and decide just what you want it to be. everone has different ideas. thats what makes your bike special
Good advice. I rushed into a few cosmetic mods that later I was not happy with.

Howdy and Welcome, Malenko. About time you came to your senses[sm=joke.gif]. Take your time and have a definite idea which direction you want to take, show, go, or just custom. Plenty of info here. Some folks here have forgot more about Harley's than I'll ever know!! As for the tank lift, Jackyl(his screen name) has them, it's a nice piece. As for the wheel, I think it'll fit with no fender mods, but your is a bit older model than what I'm familiar with.
