I talked to a "friend" today that I havent spoken with since I purchased my Street Bob back in Sept. I remembered he rides a '02 or '03 Softail Standard I believe. So I told him I bought a Street Bob and he says..." Why did you buy a Dyna ? Aint that a womans bike ?" I almost felt bad having to rip his inferior Softail, but what else was I supposed to do. I suppose its not entirely his fault I guess....apparently RUB's dont know any better

Obviously, in your absence he's been running with the wrong crowd. Rip away!! Tell him real men don't have to depend on a counter-balancer for asmooth ride.
Explain to him that soft-tails have a 88B (96B) and Dynas have a 88A (96A). Real men ride hot rods and sissy's ride garbage wagons. And any hot rodder knows that it takes time and horsepower to swing that additional weight.
That's why we fast and they not.
Then, if you can't whip his a$$, run like hell.
I got the same thing when I bought my '03 1200 Sporty, but a Sporty is really a "girls bike", even Harley says so in their ads (so to speak). They said something to the effect that a women should start out on a Sporster and after she gets some time riding, change to a "larger" bike (or something like that).

Anybody that says that doesn't know their *** from a hole in the ground. Tell him your chick's bike rides better, handles better and is quicker than his Sloptail.
i remember a couple months ago...i was at a victory dealer gathering here in ventura.......i saw two bikes.....a night train and a street bob.......it was a dude and his wife.....the street bob was his and the night train was his wife's man....if any bike is a chic bike its the softail......and sportster.....i see alot of chicks with a deluxe
