Default Full ehxaust question

My Rinehart cross back exhaust system has finally arrived and I'll be fitting it over the holidays.

My question is... I have a stage 1 kit fitted with se slip ons and fuel pak.Do you thinkI willneed to have the fuelling adjusted as its a full system (my gut feeling is yes but wonder if anybody knows).

The exhaust has also come with two sets of baffles, one fitted and another in the box but no reference is made to them at all in the paperwork [&:]any ideas?

Discovered that the spare set of baffles is for engines over 96" or heavily modified engines so I assume I will be running with the standard baffles.

I think your gut feeling is probably right. You can ride it around like that for awhile but you'll get tired of it pretty quick. What will most likely happen is you'll get alot of popping and backfiring on decel that will indicate a lean condition. If that doesn't happen your fine and you can ride it like that indefinately.

Your Gut feeling is a good one I would contact Vance & Hines and see if they have any kind of punch in numbers for the Cross Backs, which is totally diffrent from the Reinhart 2 into 1.. There a new design for reinhart.. Are the Extra Baffles for 96 and over ? or....Over 96 and heavely modified.

over 96" or heavily modified as far as i can find out on the net, might drop them a line and get a definitive answer.

I agree. Call Fuelpak tech support. If those pipes just came out, they may not have settings but I bet they'll be willing to work with you to get you close until they do. Right off the bat though, I'd change the fuelpak to something equivalent to straight pipes setup - Big Radius maybe. Should be a lot closer than the SE slipons config.
