About what's the price for the extension brackets?? Sorry if this sounds ignorant, never installed extensions on a bike before. Just trying to see if it would be worth it for a machinist to buy something I can make inhouse... And yes, I know, going to have to screw with the linkages too.
Your pic looks like they are standard with no extension at all. Notice your peg mounts are mounted right on the frame. Mine are Kuryakyn 3" extensions with the stock controls. Notice how they are forward of the frame. I am 6' with long legs. Before I installed the extensions, the inside of my thighs would get sore holding my legs into the tank. Now it is much more comfortable. The Kuraykyn kit comes with the longer shift and brake linkage in chrome.
JayfromPa,
The stirrups are HD and I bought the pads to match my pegs brake pedal and shifter. Yes, I like them. They make riding much more comfortable because of so many positions you can place your feet. I will never go back to just plain pegs and they look better than floorboards on a Dyna.
Rowdy,
It has been years ago since I bought them. I "think" the kit was a little over $100. Just do a search for forward control extensions Harley.
