Strut cover removal
So I put the bike up on the new lift.....thank you J & S for such building such a great lift....and I'm wondering how difficult the removal of the turn signals is. From what I can see, they just need disconnected inside the taillight and then unscrewed. Suggestions or hints?
Awesome! Thanks man. I have the new Progressive 812 Vintage shocks on order. I'll post a pick when I get them installed. Right now, I'm sending stuff off to the powder coater.
If you don't want to cut the wires you'll have to pull the connector off of them so you can pull them through the fender and brace. It explains how to do this in the service manual, if you have one. I used an old safety pin in place of the tool that is made for the job. It wasn't too bad.
