Default 40, 60, or 80 spoke wheel survey on my FXDWG

What do you think would look better 40, 60, 0r 80 spoke?I don't care about the cleaning aspect. I have stock 40 spoke that need to be replaced, so now is the time to change. I do want a custom look, but don't what anything that might break or go out of true real easily. Your opinion will be highly appreciated in helping with my decision. Thanks.

How can cleaning not be a consideration!? Have you got some trick or helpful tip for cleaning spokes? Some kind of special tool?I just cleaned mine today. I really like the look of the spokes, but man, I hate cleaning them! (lazy old fart that I am.)

I like the looks of spokes too, Clif...

But the FIRST priority (if I was changing spoked wheels) is to replace the stock one with the rim/spoke combo that allows a tubeless tire to be mounted! THEN, I'd work within those confines to select the type of spoke and the number of them.

Just a consideration...

Yes those do look good mud. I have found a place that sells Ultima spoke wheels that are pretty reasonable in price and from what I have heard they are decent. Yes they are foreign, but I cannot afford $600 for 2 wheels. Instead I can get 2 chrome twisted 80 counts for $250. Ultima doesntmake any higher than 80 count but that look would be great for me. Thanks for the input guys.

on a 21in and 19in, you have to go with tubes, i have a 05 wideglide, and am looking for solid wheel in back can`t see darn thing anyway, and going with above wheel if i can find would love a 100 count but can only find 60 and 80 so far
