I am looking at buying a new seat for my 08 Dyna FXDC. I have narrowed it down to the H-D Badlander or Sidekick. Any suggestions or recommendations? I like my original seat but not the cover.
Have you tried looking at Corbin or lePara seats? I have found that alot of the HD accessories are overpriced for the quality you get, not to mention there is not as wide a range as there are with the aftermarket.
Why not just have the one you like reupholstered?
I had one done at a local boat shop that does custom interiors and covers for $50. If the upholstery will with stand the use on a watercraft it should hold up fine on a bike.
I have the Le Pera "Bar Bones" and the HD "Badlander" Both are pretty good around town but, when riding on a long ride they don't cut it. I use a touring seat for long rides.
I like the look of the Badlander.....
Good luck searching...it is a never ending search.
