Default Seat confusion, Fat Bob, edited

Rats, I need to edit this, just realized I'm referencing the wrong HD seat, I need info on the Sidekick, not the Badlander. so, to correct my question, ordered a HD Brawler solo seat for a new Fat Bob, now I'm wondering if maybe a Sidekick would be a better choice for comfort and looks. Hard to tell from the pictures how much difference there is between the stock seat and the Sidekick.
Totally confused

i wouldn't waste my money on an HD seat. after trying three, i went to LaPera. seats are comfortable and they look good. cheaper seats are available and i hear good things about Mustang & C&C. almopst any of them are better than HD.

I hear that a lot about HD seats. However, the best seat I've had yet is a HD Badlander on my Deuce. I least that's the HD seat A think I have on it, bought it back in O3 and have put a lot of long distance miles on that seat. It replaced a Mustang Solo that I used for about 1/2 of a season. My question now is for the two HD seats, the Brawler and the Badlander for the Dyna Fat Bob. The stock seat looks a lot like the Badlander from the pictures on the HD web site. , I'd like to know how much different the HD Badlander is from the stock seat. The LePera's looks good, not sure how well I'd like it doing long distance multiple day runs on it. If anyone is using the Brawler I'd be interested in that too.

horse, have a sit on the BadLander.

A really good looking piece of leather artwork.

For me it's about as comfortable as a doubled over piece of carboard.

Maybe the FatBob version is better.

And, on the other hand, some folks love the BadLander.

Maybe I just got a good one on my Deuce. It is on the firm side, but sure fits me well. Problem is, not sure if the one for the Dyna will work as well, different pan, different shape. But, comfort, to each their own. Had a guy tell me there was NO way he could ride a bike like my Deuce from AR to DC, he took an Ultra, said that one beat him up and now he rides a Wing. Now that I think about it, we haven't ridden together in a couple of years...

Yeah horse that's why I say try to have a sit on one.

I had a BadLander for a few daze on my machine,
and it did not work for me.

As you say, "to each their own"

I sold mine to an HDFDyna brother,
after telling him how much I disliked it,
clay wanted it.

I know he told me it was all good once he got it.

I have a brand new used once Screaming Eagle Dyna seat that I am looking to get rid of. For a two up seat it is great LOOKING. My wife wanted something with a little more cushion. I ride sole 98% of the time so I don't need it. $200 and I will pay shipping if anyone is interested. PM me for more details.
