Did some searches and read a few recommendations...but thought I'd throw the question out anyways.
I've got a WideGlide and the stock seat does not work well with my bad back and candy-*** pansy ***
I've had Mustang seats in the past and found they are good for back support but was not a fan at their hardness. My daughter also hates the hardness of the stock WideGlide ('08) seat.
I've got a AirHawk that is great...but I don't like taking it out on the shorter, frequent stop rides.
Has anyone any recommendations? Visually the HD Tourer seat looks like it is deep and has good support...but don't know how soft it is.
I have the HD touring seat on my Fat Bob, and I can tell you it if very comfortable.
The wife can even ride for a few hours at a time without stopping.
It may not look the "coolest", but if comfort is what your after it fits that bill.
Note: The seat in my signature picture is the stock seat
swapping seats is super easy but if your still looking for something better my buddy shaves seats and put in your choice of mem foam or gel so you get a cool look but a great ride super comfortible. Hope this helps ya out.
I had a Lepera on my 05 Sporty. It looked good and was comfortable. I have the Sundowner on my 08 Streetbob. Most people don't like the look, but my butt loves it.
You might want to try the Mustang Regal Duke. It's soft when you first sit on it, but it's got that deep down firmness that you need for comfortable long rides. And the back support is great.
I just got one seat back from Mean City Cycles and am going to send them my stock Dyna seat to work over as well. They were great to work with and the seat looks outstanding. I should find out later today just how much of a change the double memory foam turns out to be. The price to do the stock Dyna seat isn't that bad either. Here's my new and improved Badlander.
