Default what do you use for fender plugs?

I took off my license plate mount thanks to Clutch, and I have three holes in the rear fender.
Just curious what you guys use to plug holes like that? I bought a fender plug a few months ago, but it does not fit these wholes. They are 2 different sizes, and it doesnt fit either. Is there a certain plug I need to ask for, or is it just not made and I need to just plug it with something that is off the wall? Any ideas would be superb, thanks!

I had my holes welded up and my fender re-painted. That solved my problem. I have heard that some people have used plastic automotive plugs to fill them. Check an auto parts store. That could work.

They make chrome metal plugs that snap in the holes. I think you can get them at the dealer. If not, check out JP cycles.

Well, I got you into this mess, so I had better give you an idea on how to cover the holes.

I didn't want to do anything as permament as filling the holes, or as expensive as repainting the rear fender, so I just made a Maltise Cross out of Stainless steel and siliconed it to the rear fender (picture attached). It was a good thing because as I told you, I only had that tag bracket on for about a month or so and went back to the fender tag mount so I could add detatchable saddle bags.

I also added a s/s cover to block out the tag light on the tail light - you can see that in the picture also.

Sorry, but after that, I had it on my horn cover and lost it one day going home from Galveston at an extreme rate of speed. I'm sure the cross ended up in the radiator of some poor guys new Mercedes.

Anyway, a cover is a good and inexpensive idea.

Oh yeah, Kuryakyn makes a triangle shaped piece that bolts in place to cover holes. Forgot about it when i posted my first reply.

There are two specific sized black plugs at lowes. I should have the part number for you in a few hours... I've gotta pick some up for my fender. The top hole and offset hole are smaller than the two bottom holes of the dreaded triangle.

I used some machine screws that I painted with touch up paint. It was easier since it was black, kinda blends. It will hold me over until I have the holes welded.
