I put the Kuryakyn Elipses on mine. After I changed my bars, I could no longer see behind me using the stock mirrors.

Oops, forgot pix.

Ianltd, Can you post some more photos of your bike from different angles, I'm interested in what your WG looks like with the buckhorns. I have an 05 WG and want to change the bars to buckhorns. Also, do you like your WG with buckhorns, any pros and cons with them?
ORIGINAL: Ianltd

I have 'buckhorn' bars and late stock mirrors on the small Harley extensions.

They are getting a bit worse for wear now and need replacing!

I kinda fancy something maybe oval/cats eye shaped - not sure, but most places say 'not advisable with buckhorns'

Any experience and/or opinions with what to look at.................just kinda lost with this one!!

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi 05,

Here's some photos of my WG with the Buckhorns as you wanted!!
I don't know how many it will let me load but I'll have a go - or put them in two replies

The BH's are a lot narrower then the Apes - that I don't like, but the height is about the same - with the risers.

But comfort is amazing - as I'm only 5'7" it pulls the bars right back to me and once you're used to the lesser width, they are OK.

When I installed them I had stock FXSTC BH's and stock FXSTC 4" pullback risers.
H-D say they won't fit but they obviously do but it just brings the riser slightly nearer the speedo housing!

Anyhow take a look and if you need any more info., (part# etc.) let me Know.
HTH, Ian

Thanks Ian, Nice looking bike. What bars did you use? I am the same height as you, but I have the HD Sundowner seat. What do you think it would be like as far as position goes, without the riser?
