Hi Joel,
I used standard type '82 FXSTC bars by Custom Chrome - part# 10028, and genuine FXSTC Harley 4" pullback risers # 56066-82A.
I think without the risers they would be a little too low if you're used to Apes.
You are gaining an extra 3" on the standard risers plus the 2" of pullback!
But again, if you just put the bars on and didn't feel right, you could always add the risers later maybe.
In order to fit the risers, you will probably have to change out the brake line - I did!
