Well done Swede, I think you made the right choice. In England the on the road, list price is $21,000 in black with alarm, all taxes paid. The exchange rate against the pound is good. You also get the first 1000 mile service and a tank of fuel etc. I think the active exhaust is standard for all European countries.
I've ordered one in black pearl and I'll be taking delivery in March. I was going to get it delivered this month but I'm too busy to ride a bike much and there's too much salt on the roads. There's not much point in having a bike sitting in my garage with the road tax and warranty ticking away if I'm not going to use it much. I rode my Yamaha this week and it's not too cold here.
I went to a bike rally in Denmark a few years ago and visited Sweden afterwards. I took my family so I had to drive my car with my bike on a trailer. It was very, very expensive in Sweden. I had to pay £140 (about $280) just to cross the bridge between Denmark and Sweden. Another bridge in Denmark cost £80 ($160). In England we get angry when we have to pay £5. I thought that Sweden was a beautiful country and the people were very friendly but I don't think I will go again, it is too expensive.
