Default Fat Bob Tail Light changeout

Hi all,

How many of you Fat Bob owners have changed or are considering changing your Tail light ? I'm looking for some different options and it would be great if you could share your ideas and suggestions....if you did change it, can you post some pics please [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Just something about the stock tail light I don't really care for.....

Stay SAFE.......

I've thought about it, but don't think I'll make that leap for awhile. An LED version would be nice, but I don't want the chrome cover that HD sells with it.

I am going to convert the rear turn signals into red running lights/indicators.

What I'd like to find is a black engine guard. HD makes a black one for the touring models, but only chrome for the FBob.

How/where are you carrying your insurance, registration papers, etc.?

Yeah, I'm thinking of doing the red running light thing this weekend, I heard HD has the kit for 39 or 49 $$$.

As far a carrying insurance and registration....at this time in my wallet whenever I ride. I did see in a earlier post someone is putting it in a zip lock bag and taping it under the seat....need to have a knuraled **** on the seat screw or carry a phillips with ya.....LOL

I orderd the H-D LED tailight with the smoke lens and black housing (together with the smoked indicator lens covers and Screaming Eagle slip-ons, and...)

Seems like everything for this bike is back-ordered - should be here in the next 2 weeks...

Cheers,
-Jack

They offer it in a black housing also.

I love that backrest light!

Anything to be more visible from the rear!

Has anyone thought about mounting marker lights on the fork, using a turn signal relocation kit?

I'd also like to get the engine guard with fog lights.... but not wanting the FBob to start looking like a touring bike.

I have the H-D LED Smoked with black housing. I think it looks good.

I like the LED style. Got some Stage1 mods on order and just spent a few hundred. Promised the wife I would hold off for awhile. Iwill probable go with the LED's.

Check with custom dynamics. They supposedly have a taillight/license plate combo that looks sweet.Would really cleanup the back end. A little pricey right now though.
