SERT map help - V&H Sideshots
Hello everyone,
I just installed Vance & Hines Black Sideshots with "quiet" baffles on my 07 FXDL and am working on the SERT map to dial it in. I started with closed loop cal# 67 (176AE104-A0.MT6) with the CLB tables maxed out but it definitely needs some tweaking. The engine starts good cold & hot, idles smooth and has good power but also has the usual popping on decel. I tried decrementing the decel enleanment tables some which had little effect so I'm thinking it's running lean in a few areas due to the different back pressure and/or reversion characteristics of these pipes.
Does anyone here have the front/rear cylinder VE table numbers I could paste in or a possibly a map they are willing to trade/sell that has VE tables for this setup?
07 FXDL Bone stock 96 ci engine - U.S. 49 state spec
Vance & Hines Black Sideshots w/ quiet baffles
H-D SE air cleaner # 29406-08 (08 Dyna style, probably flows just like standard 29773-02C kit)
SERT version 4.76

I've already checked in with Latus H-D but Mike didn't have a map that would work. I plan to get a custom dyno tune eventually once I get some more miles on the bike and find someone within riding distance that can be trusted to do a SERT tune correctly (everyone locally mostly does V&H PC). To make things more fun my only laptop runs Vista so I get to drag my wife's desktop PC out to the garage every time I do an upload since it has a real serial port & runs XP.
I've been lurking here for a while absorbing really good information and am trying to learn the SERT so my bike can be de-EPA'd and actually run like its supposed to. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated and will most likely save me numerous trips dragging a PC and monitor around looking like an idiot. Thanks!
