The Harley bags apear to mount flush against the struts. These easy brackets go between the bag and the bike, um is that right? So in effect easy brackets add width to the whole assembly.
Am I missing something here? Does anyone elseoffer a mount that is flush? Can you install the easy bracket inside an aftermarket bag to tighten it up?

 

The back of the Harley bags are molded and contoured to clear things like shocks, belt guard and axle nuts so they can be mounted closer to the strut. Most after market bags need an 1" to 1 1/2" just to clear these things.
