I have to laugh because I used to think my wife wasn't that observant. Then, one day I had bought a new rifle and managed to get it into the safe when she wasn't around. A couple of weeks went by and I took the new rifle out, amongst some of my others, and she said to me, "where'd you get that new rifle". I think I just stood there in shock and disbelief and couldn't speak. LOL
I don't think many would notice the tank lift either. I think that unless you've been around Harleys and know how they come stock and after visiting here to see what guys are doing to their bikes, many people would be clueless. But, it is fun, isn't it?

Similar situation here. We both smoke, but not in the house, so we go into the garage. I installed my forwards and the headlight one afternoon between her coming out for a smoke. She didn't even notice when she came back out, but damned if the next time she got on it with me for a ride that she didn't notice the laydown license plate and skull plate bolts that had been on there for 3 months...go figure. I guess I got a couple months before she picks up on the forwards and headlight. THis after telling her I had bought them

LOL..gotta love our wimmins! It's funny too because my wife's thing is new clothes. She loves new clothes. I swear she has things in her closet she's only worn once and if I see something I haven't seen before and mention it, she usually tells me she's had it for a while....mmmm, mabye they play games too....
