...I do like that 105 Anniversary model two tone...
Just in case you don't know this, there's a big special deal going on right now for that 105th anniversary "duracell" paint job. Something about getting 1.05% financing if you have good credit on 105th Anny models. Check it out!

bought mine because I thought it was the best deal on Dyna models and I do not like the bob tail on WG

Mine was a toss up between the 2010 Super glide,Super glide custom and the Fat Bob. The Custom was so nice and a good buy that I could not refuse it.

SGC is a great bike. My dealer had 2 streetbobs that just came in that they were eager to deal on. I got a great deal on the streetbob which fit me perfectly. for me it was about which bike fit me best. SGC is every bit as good a bike and i love my bike! I really like the WG and Fatbob too but price and fit were considerations.

Default Dyna Super Glide Custom

I bought my 2009 FXDC because I liked the look, fit, and handling, plus the potential for touring. It's a great bike, with lots of chrome. Mine has very smooth running engine. I don't think you'd be disappointed in a Super Glide Custom.

My first Harley was a Sportster. I then bought a Superglide, won a FATBOY and sold the SG. I then bought a Duece followed by a V-Rod.
I also had a Kawasaki C14 ( sport touring bike). After having those bikes, I also regerted selling the SG. Fat front tires and skinny front tires all have an affect on handling. The Superglide ( and custom) are a great balance in weight/ride/and handling.

I'm very satisfied with my current Superglide custom! It's not as fast as some of my latest bikes, but it tours just fine, and hours of riding are still fun.

HArley has an issue on a lot of their bikes where the foot controls are WAAAY too far forward. I chose the SGC because of the mid-mount controls. The bike fits me very well and I have her set up for light touring. Imho the Super Glide Custom and the Road King are Harley's 2 best all-around models...

I chose the FXDC based on many factors. Many already mentioned.
I ride in NYC, five boroughs. With constant 90 degree turns, pot holes, stop signs and traffic lights. Mid controls are a big plus. Less travel of my legs from ground to pegs. Also lifting my *** up on bumps helps.
The price is nice, for a shiny big twin. More money for mods.
Easily a touring bike with some bags, shield and shocks.
The best part about the Super Glide Custom is that a many people that compliment me on the it think it's a 20K+ motorcycle!
One guy said "I like Harleys but I can get more bike, bigger displacement for less than 20K, although the chrome goodies you put on your ride were impressive".
I replied "This model is only 13K and it's a 1600cc. The chrome came stock."
As far as Wide Glide, I loved the look. When I took it for a test ride I hated it. The extra rake makes quick, 90 degree turns a pain. Forward controls made the sled more awkward and ungainly.
What I hated about FXDC right away are the bars and the stock seat. After a 30 mile ride the seat awakened up my hemorrhoids that have been dormant for more than 10 years. I bought the Mustang Wide Vintage seat and 'roids are gone.
FXDC is the best bang for the buck HD you can own.

I agree with Nat about the stock seat. The first mod I did on my FXDC was a Mustang seat with detachable backrest. A set of 4' handlebar risers brought my bars a bit closer to me and completed the fit.
