I've had my bike just a short time and having got the bags and windshield for free I have become converted to the idea of a Road King myself. For two up it just makes more sense to me.
Now if I was a strict solo rider....well... I'd prefer your current steed.

I'd pick the one that's more comfortable, I guess. I don't judge a person by what bike they ride.

I was riding down a side street the other day and a little old man was riding on one of those scooter things, and yes, I gave him the wave!
Did that one time to a kid on a scooter and he looked at me like I had antenna, but he waved back...!

Yeah, I'll probably get a bagger when I'm old. But right now I'm only mid-fifties...
Yep... 53 here... I'm waiting until I'm 90 for a bagger.

My wife has been complaining about thr vibes of the wideglide. I've been looking at the heritage.

Hmmmmm......first thing my wife said was "it doesnt vibrate enough". Second thing was "it's too quiet". I think I picked a good one.

Funny this thread should come up. I've only had my lowrider for about 7 months, and 3K great miles. But, I find myself being drawn the bagger side. I do a fair amount of commuting, so the fairing appeals to me. I do have a HD quick detach on the lowrider, but it buffets terrible. I put Memphis lowers on, which helped, but no where near perfect. The SG would also be better when 2-up as well. Meh, I'm going to try and get a test ride in the near future, just have to see from there. Best of luck!

I like Electraglides myself and think the Electraglide standard is the best deal Harley's got going but, the reality of it is, I don't tour.I've got a full time job, and a family and really just no time for long haul touring.I don't need a fairing and bags for the kind of riding I do but if I do get to the point where I can hit the road for days at a time I'll get a bagger and it'll be an Eglide.

Everytime I get that feeling I go for a ride and crack it on. The Sportster hauls ***, single or two up, then I settle down.

Stay with the Bob. I got a Superglide and a Roadglide and unless starting a trip or the weather is bad, I much prefer the dyna. It's lighter, more responsive and just more fun to ride. The Roadie is big (850 lbs) massive, and a pain to maneuver around in traffic.(although it's hard to beat if you are going to tour or otherwise spend long days (450 miles) in the saddle at highway speeds)

If you ride a bagger enough you get used to it, but it sure dont have the fun factor of the Dyna.

I was thinking that too on the weight. -- Got to sit one thats 850lbs the other day just for the fun of it and it felt big to me, really big. I guess once you get rolling it's ok. I'd vote for the fun factor too.
