If your bike has a single disc brake in the front you can find a wide glide front end assembly on eBay or somewhere else and install the whole thing. The 1999 - 2005 Dyna should all fit (maybe even other years).

should be able to do it without much problem. Just need some $

If you go with a HD wideglide front end - the tubes will be long compared to the Low Rider tubes. This will slow your steering a bit - or you could just slide the tubes up the trees a bit.

I know the seach bites - but there is a good thread that outlines the parts you need.

I put a wide front on my 2005 - but its not 41mm and it's not HD.

The trees on the Wide Glide are raked 2 degrees. I think there is only about a 2 degree difference in the frame rake from a Wide Glide to a Low Rider. This would keep it from being too different than stock. But, glide05 is right about being able to slide the tubes up the trees.

Not tring to highjack. But what other parts would be needed? Can you just find the trees and axel spacers? Which why could you go for the least amount of parts. Thanks MDodson

there are kits out there. give you all the parts needed for conversion. Accutronix comes to mind here. they have a couple widths...choice of upper or lower mount headlight.... couple different rake options.

He wanted to go to 41mm tubes. With that, the trees, tube, and sliders have to be replaced. Might as well find a used front end (possibly with a finder, wheel, & tire on it) and just put it on. A lot less work.

if you use the stock SG front wheel - you will need a spacer for the brake disc so it lines up, you need the correct wheel spacers as mentioned, and if you dont want to bend the fender mounts, you will need to space those as well.
