Got some parts back from powdercoating today. Couldn't wait to see the difference so I got right to it after work tonite. Also added some other parts I picked up along the way from a forum member (thanks Lo............). Had my strut covers, and turn signals done in wrinkle black. I'm really happy with the way it came out. Gives the struts just the right contrast to my Pacific Blue tins.
Big props go out to Metal Mike for doing an excellent job on powdercoating the parts for me! The finish looks sweet and matches up well with all the other wrinkle stuff I have added.
I also finally got rid of the batwing turn signal mounts and put the kit I got from JP Cycles on. Makes the front end look so much better now. Could beat the price either , at 21.99 for the set.
Here's a couple of pics to show off the new work. I am the first to admit I am the worlds worst photog and I had to do it in the garage, but I figured I would give it a go anyway.
man i like the turn signal kit...did you have to do any re-wiring or buy anything else? for only 21.99, i dont think you could beat that with a stick...
I like the wrinkle black rear turn signals and rear fender trim. looks good, any plans for the front end? Just curious my front end looks similar alot of polished pieces and black bars
