Just talked to Chris over at Superbrace and he's promised a free one to anyone with a 2006-2008 FXDWG that would come down to their shop so they can get the measurements to fit .
There's GOT to be someone near Hunnington Beach with an 06-08 FXDWG who wouldn't mind a free Superbrace...
Anyway, if you fit the bill you can contact Chris Remyn at (888) 244-6888
I ordered mine last Sept only to find that what they thought fit didn't and have been waiting for someone to take a bike down to their shop to get fit ever since!
I ordered mine for my 06 Wide Glide back in October! I'm still waiting on it, and now I see that they are just getting around to tooling a new fit for the 06's? I wonder what's taking them so long?
Sorry guys....I was supposed to go up to Hunington beach weeks ago. Work has been taking up a HUGE amount of time. I will give a call monday and see if he is working. If so, I should be able to get over there. I dont want to call him yet, because I have missed an appointment twice now.
Don't worry about missing appointments, your fellow hdforum.com members need their SuperBraces! We can be reached at 800-322-4783 or email at customer-service@superbrace.com. We totally understand your work situation as most of the guys in the shop are working 6-7 days and have been since our facility move in December.
Also, we've heardthe #5194 06-08 Dyna Wide Glide SuperBrace will fit the Fat Bob also. We're also looking for a local Fat Bobrider to confirm that also!
