I need to bring the stock bars back towards me 1-2 inches. The two simpliest waysI can think of are to buy the "reach seat" from Harley or the 4 inch risers they sell. Which way would you go. I am riding an 06 superglide custom ( bar mounted speedo so changing the bars is not so easy). I am 5'8' with a 30 inch inseam. I am leaning toward the risers because my legs feel ok using the stock seat.
on my wideglide i put the 2 1/2 inch risers that put the bar back about 1 1/2 inch back and one up works for me diden~t have to screw with any cables any bigger and i would of had to change all kinds of sh**
go with the risers. I have an 06' Superglide and went with 4 1/2" risers. didn't do it for pull back, back it is an easy mod none the less. speedo doesnt make a difference. just pull old risers out, and install new ones. 15 minute job.
