The thead that someone posted for Chrome Lovers only got me to thinking that since my bike was already on the lift at the dealership getting new bars and other mods, I might as well change the Triple Trees to chrome. I called the dealership to talk to them about it today, but the guy that I deal with solely wasn't in. Will somebody stop me....does it ever end....do they have a Harley's Anonymous in Iraq....I'm having the DT's...
Just order one of everything for yer bike! That should keep you in payments for the remainder of your life and then you won't have to worry about it anymore cause you won't have no mo money! LOL

No payments, everything (including the bike) has been paid for in cash. I keep trying to give the dealership money for the mods they're doing and they keep telling me not to worry, they'll get it from me when I get home...plus they have my bike as hostage..lol
I DONT KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY YOU GOT......SOUNDS LIKE YOU "HAD" A LOT! BUT IF YOU HAVE A FEW EXTRA BUX LAYING AROUND I SAY GO FOR IT
Just a little extra from risking my *** in Iraq as a contractor. I figured I'm going to buy my bike and get it done right while I can. This isn't going to last forever so I'm taking advantage of it.
Might as well have them throw a chrome swingarm on there also and brake calipers of course...
LOL...I think I"m going to stick with the black swingarm to break up some of the chrome and I'm not going to change out the calipers until I need brakes.
go with the chrome!
i'm currenlty looking at new show chromed trees and there's not a lot out there for 49mm forks, or not that i've found yet.
do like iam doing for the 49mm trees, buy a set of used wdg or stock trees and have them chromed. costed me total 275.00, thats for the wdg trees and chroming. if your looking for stock trees, i will sell you mine when i change them to the wdg trees.jackyl
