Ok so heres the deal I bought smart siren 1 (the one without the pager), I currently have the factory installed security system which disabels the ignition, Does anyone here know, Do I have to remove that and then install the siren and it does both or what, the directions that came with it suck...........any help would be appreciated

Thanks Frog, That what Ithought I needed to do also, but there is no plug there on my 08, I think it has something to do with the keyless ignition system that I have. Did your 06 have that?

Plug is in a main wiring harness in front of rear tire behind elec. panel at bottom right . It has three wires ,[Black, Green, Brown ] . You will have to that bolts out of elec. panel and pull it away from bike to find it .

Frog thanks for all your effort to help.............greatly appreciated, and with those pics in hand I took another crack at it today and I positively say ther are no unused plugs under my seat or behind the E console.
So it has either been used by the keyless ignition system or by the race tuner..................So I gues I wll call the service dept and ask them...................once again thanks
